Deb Inder
Chair Person
Deb Inder is an accredited Family Specialist Mediator and NZLS approved FDR provider focusing on disputes arising from care arrangements for children and guardianship issues.
Deb has extensive experience as a Family Law Barrister specializing in care of children disputes, relationship property litigation and all other aspects of family law. Deb regularly acts as court appointed Lawyer for the Child and Counsel to Assist.
Deb is also a committee member of the Children’s Rights Alliance Aotearoa New Zealand (CRAANZ) an alliance that reports directly to the UN Committee of the Child on the New Zealand Government’s implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and promotes children's rights in civil society.
Deb holds a PhD in law, the subject of her thesis is Children’s Participation Rights in Family Law Proceedings.

Richard started out his working life as a secondary teacher in Wellington and then moved on to New Zealand’s national academy of science where he managed the education and communication programmes.
Since retiring and moving to Wanaka six years ago he has enjoyed casual work guiding wine tours and 4wd trips.
As a parent of two children, and now a grandparent, Richard is well aware of the importance of giving all children the opportunity to achieve to their potential.
Supporting this at Wanaka Primary School was his motivation for being a trustee.

Katherine Nicholson B.Ed, Dip Tchg Primary
Kath has over twenty years teaching experience in primary schools in New Zealand and London. Moving to Wanaka in 2006 with her family, Kath has been involved as an employee or volunteer with our local primary schools, Wanaka Preschool, Aspiring Gymnastics Club and Aspiring Athletes Club.
She is currently teaching year five/six students at Wanaka Primary School.

Wanaka Primary School Staff Representative
Marj has been teaching at Wanaka Primary since 2007, largely working within the junior school. Currently Marj is a specialist teacher in the Literacy Learning Support programme as well as teaching in a New Entrant classroom.
